Connor Masseurs is taking on the world.
He has represented his country in hip-hop performing with Company NZ, and performed with Manu Collective. He won New Zealand’s Most Outstanding male Hip Hop Dancer 2015 and made the finals of 2018 Fist of Fury.
Connor has performed as a backup dancer for Taiwanese super-star Jolin Tsai. Since 2016 he has also been working with Malia Johnson and Movement of the Human performing in World of Wearablearts, Rushes and MOTH.
When he’s not performing internationally he loves to return to where it all started for him, rolling out the lino in his local community to run cyphers. Ooshcon has extended this practice engaging young men, having assisted and then led NZSD’s ‘Tu Move’ (2016-18) NZSD programme that introduces young Maori & Pasifika men to contemporary dance.
